Achieving the Quality Standard
The Quality Advice Programme involves a defined set of standards for measuring and maintaining quality of advice, and provides an internal accreditation process for recognising those advisers who meet them.
In order to receive Quality Advice accreditation, all the advisers of Ellerfield were required to meet a number of essential criteria in relation to financial planning principles.
Once satisfied that the key criteria were being met, we assessed a number of examples of written advice prepared by the advisers of Ellerfield, against the Quality Advice standards, which were established after consideration of relevant benchmarks identified in the financial services industry.
Ongoing and regular assessment of the quality of advice provided to clients is also an important element of the Programme.
